  What a shame this hotel has completely gone down hill. We attended a couple weddings here a few years back and didn't run into any issues.. however this past Saturday was another story. We came to timber creek for a fundraiser benefit and I was HEAVILY disappointed in timber creeks involvement with it. For starters, with an event of over 200 people, its not a good idea to have bartenders who are clueless and take 5 minutes to make one drink. The lines were horrible and the staff was rude and under prepared behind the bar. one woman even said "this is my first shift.. sorry" really?! they also ran out of liquor.. how do you run out of alcohol?! Then it was dinner time.. we happened to be one of the last tables to be able to eat and to our surprise there was NO food left. Yup they ran out of food. They tried to "fix" the situation but bringing out tiny portions of random food from the kitchen, but it was all cold and flavorless so honestly we were better off not eating it. I cant comment on the flavor of the original meal as we did not get any... shame. My friend has an egg allergy and asked for the vegan meal and was met with rudeness and was told that "everything has egg so I guess your eating salad". they offered a vegan meal.. so tell me, is it really vegan?!? To top it all off, another couple we attended with got a hotel room and to their surprise when they got to their room, there were no beds, no tables, nothing... the room was completely empty. HOW?! how do you book a room to a customer with nothing in it?! When questioned about it, they fumbled over their words and "upgraded" them to a "better" room, when really it was the same room we had and paid the same price for.. not better. The event we attended was wonderful, and the people behind the event did an amazing job pulling it all together and I felt nothing but sadness seeing the way the hotel treated something like this. This event alone not only raised money for a great cause, but could have brought so much money and future business into this hotel. Unfortunately not we will never stay there again and I will advise anyone looking to hold a wedding or event at this place to think twice.

  I enjoyed an exceptional stay at this hotel. The rooms were outstanding and the staff amazing. The lobby was similar to the quality you would find in many of the highest quality ski lodges in Colorado. I found the pool and exercise area well maintained and featured a lot of windows for a great panoramic view of the woodlands that surround the property. If you have had a bad experience here, it must of really been an off day because this place rocks!
